Swimmy Project by Elan Ferguson

Swimmy by Leo Lionni, was a little black fish that taught his friends the benefits of working as a team and this project teaches children the same. All of the classmates must work together to color all of the red fish in order to make one big fish. This project can be done with stamping as well.

A Color of His Own

With the book, A Color of His Own by Eric Carle, a sweet lizard wishes he had hi own color and didn't keep changing to match his surroundings. In this project the children get to pick their own color for their lizard and the glue down all of the pieces. I use the glue to guide the children and use words such as horizontal and vertical.

This Caps for sale project is excellent for teaching colors, memorization, sequence, stacking, and counting.
